2021 has been a tough but rewarding year. We’ve launched our new website, we’ve launched two new businesses: Carter Staffing and Carter Consultancy, and we’ve enjoyed building relationships with new clients and supporting relationships with our existing ones. We’ve welcomed new members of the team, undergone a rebrand and fully integrated our office dog Fudge.

What qualifications do you need to be a security guard?

As far as formal qualifications go, there are a number of boxes that need to be ticked. To qualify you'll need:
•    To be 18 or over
•    Pass identity and criminal record checks
•    Have a valid SIA license

We have invested a considerable amount of money to launch our new 'Guard Attendance and Welfare' platform. This is delivered via an Apple iPad locked within a housing that's mounted to a wall, and this system is now being installed to all of our sites throughout the UK. This ensures that our staff have access to Deputy wherever they are.
