A particular news story caught our eye this week, and made us think about the importance of retail security. The story is as follows -

“Asda has stepped up its Créme Egg security in stores, as the hunt for Cadbury’s valuable half and half eggs gets underway. The supermarket introduced a Créme Egg security guard in its Pudsey store today to help prevent any opportunistic shoppers from cracking a peak following the commencement of the egg hunt. One of the rare half milk and half white chocolate eggs worth £10,000 could be hidden in a random Asda store ready to be found by one lucky winner. To think of Cadbury’s Crème Eggs being such an in demand item that a specific security officer is required is quite astounding – yet clearly very much needed. Should you require trained security officers in your retail facility, there are a number of reasons why Carter Security should be at the top of your list.

  • All of our security officers hold a valid SIA licence, and we never subcontract. This means all of our security officers hold the qualification required for to do the role professionally, and by not subcontracting we’re confident that we can trust each and every individual who wears the Carter Security uniform.
  • We can supply undercover security officers wearing ordinary clothes to increase the chances of catching unsuspecting shoplifters. We can then detain the individuals until the local authorities arrive.
  • We have a stellar reputation in our local area and across the UK. As a national company, but family run, we offer security across the UK but with contracts tailored to suit the needs of your business.
  •
