It's the weekend we've been waiting for for months! Pubs can now reopen, and you can even get yourself a haircut and make a day out of it! With pubs opening this morning, the potential for all-day drinking across the UK is very much a reality, and this means that come the evening, it could be easy for your customers to forget the current social distancing precautions still very much in place.

These government guidelines include measures such as table service only, social distancing and limited venue capacity, which could mean bigger queues than normal outside your pub. Customers will also need to give their contact details to the staff, which will need to be held for 21 days as part of a track and trace initiative should there be an outbreak of coronavirus at your particular establishment.

After a few beverages, it could be difficult for your customers to make sense of what seems to have become the 'new normal' but our security officers will work hard to remind punters that it's important to recognise these guidelines have been implemented by the government, and not by yourselves or the door supervisors and security officers. We'll be working hard to keep the peace and ensure your pub stays as safe as it possibly can be throughout the weekend.

Having worked throughout the height of the pandemic, we are very much familiar with current government protocol and the speed in which it changes. This means we can be trusted to be following the most up to date advice, and we are well-versed in explaining why these procedures need to be in place to those less willing to abide by the guidelines. We will have no problem removing individuals who might be putting others at risk.

It is our priority to work hard and keep everyone safe, just as we are trained to do.  For more information on how we can work with you to provide a quality security service at your business during these unusual times, please don't hesitate to get in touch a member of our team.

Alternatively, if you're looking to further your career within the security industry, please check the careers section on our website or email us an up to date copy of your C.V. We are currently recruiting for Security Officers, Gate House Officers, Mobile Patrol Officers and Manned Guard-Reception Officers - for full-time and part-time positions. We never subcontract our staff, we invest in their training and we work hard to support our staff. If you could picture yourself as working for one of the leading security companies in the UK, please get in touch. We look forward to meeting you.
