If you’re looking at scaling up your business, you will need to carefully consider the security you currently have in place. It’s highly likely you will need to scale up your security up as your business expands.

Ensure you have trusted keyholders, and a lock/unlock service

Keyholders are an incredibly trusted part of any business, making sure that the premises are locked and secure at the end of every day. If you’re scaling up, your existing employees might be taking on more responsibilities, and therefore no longer have the ability to remain keyholders. Higher new staff alongside your business growth doesn’t necessarily mean they’d make good keyholders either, so it makes sense to consider a separate contractor to become keyholders for you.

Our trained security officers all hold a valid SIA license, and this makes them the perfect, trusted individuals to be keyholders, we can provide a lock/unlock service alongside this too. We can also include an alarm response service, meaning we attend your business should an alarm be sounded out of hours. This allows you to focus on the growth of your business without worrying about who is in charge of the keys.

Reviewing a new location

If you’re scaling up, you might need to relocate. A new location will come with a new set of security issues to be reviewed. Perhaps it's in a different area of town or a new town altogether? Have you checked the perimeters? Is the CCTV system up to date or even in existence? We can work with you to conduct a thorough risk assessment of your new site, recommending and implementing security that works for your needs and your budget.
