The warmer weather brings with it a flurry of outdoor sports kicking off for the year! Whilst one of the most well known sporting events is the London marathon, taking place on Sunday 23rd April this year, they’ll be race days and sporting events up and down the country.

If you’ll be hosting a sporting event open to the public that’s of a significant scale, then you’ll need to be already considering security. The safety of not only the general public and event goers, but of those taking part and those supporting the event (paid or voluntary) will need to be of the utmost priority.

How can Carter Security help?

With over 30 years of experience in the security industry, including catering for the security needs of a wide range of events, including sporting events, we can support with:

•    Crowd control and conflict management

Large crowds of people can quickly become dangerous, so its important to have security guards that understand the risk and are able to manage crowds quickly and professionally. We can manage any outburst of antisocial behaviour, escourting troublesome individuals off site, and calling the local authorities if necessary.

•    Vehicle access/exits points and car park management

No only can we manage the movement of people through your event, but we can help with vehicle management too. This means ensuring that car parks are organised to allow for clear paths of movement to avoid a build up of traffic.

For more information on how we can support you with our security services at your next event, please don't hesitate to get in touch with a member of our team.

Alternatively, if you're looking to further your career within the security industry, please check the careers section on our website or email us an up to date copy of your C.V. We never subcontract security guards, choosing instead to invest in training and we work hard to support our staff. We look forward to meeting you.
