The last three months have been a huge challenge for the entire world, and the UK is very much included in this. As one of the hardest-hit countries, we've experienced one of the longest lockdown periods, something completely unheard of before the coronavirus crisis. The term furlough, previously rarely spoken, is now a reality for thousands and thousands of people, and many are worried about their job security or the sustainability of their business. This makes it a particularly worrying time for local businesses, as the economy struggles to recover.

How has this affected us?

The team at Carter Solutions and Services have stood strong and united throughout these unusual times, even when our very own Nick Carter fell ill with COVID-19. His recovery kick-started a new lease of life for the business, with the focus now more than ever to support local businesses in our community and continue to support our security officers and office colleagues.

Lockdown has been an unknown entity, something incredibly scary to face, with what felt like no end in sight. As the country prepares to re-emerge, we have never been more determined to stand by businesses as they begin preparations to reopen, whether that's supporting the industrial sector with starting up their production lines once more or supporting retailers opening their doors to the public again.

How can we help your business?

Our security officers are highly trained in social distancing measures, and understand the increased risks that lockdown may have caused your business. We can assist with door supervisors to monitor the number of people allowed in your store, and we can have security officers inside the building to keep your staff and customers safe. We can operate as mobile patrols or with manned guarding to reduce the risk of crime at your business -- especially important if you're beginning to trade again, as this will most likely mean an increase in goods kept overnight.

For more information on how we can work with you to provide a quality security service at your business during these unusual times, please don't hesitate to get in touch a member of our team.

Alternatively, if you're looking to further your career within the security industry, please check the careers section on our website or email us an up to date copy of your C.V. We never subcontract our staff, we invest in their training and we work hard to support our staff. We look forward to meeting you.
