Although we’re based in Wisbech, we have an exceptional number of clients in London and often run recruiting campaigns in the capital city to accommodate for these contracts. These contracts include licensed gaming venues, hospitality clients and those in the corporate sector. It’s unsurprising that London has one of the highest crimes rates in the UK, and this makes security such an important aspect of running a successful business and minimising crime for your employees and customers.

What sets corporate security apart from other sectors?

All of our security officers have a valid SIA license and all with be wearing appropriate uniforms and have the correct technology such as body cameras to enable them to safely carry out their duties when on shift. Corporate security however requires an enhanced set of skills, including:

  1. Providing great customer service

A concierge service should be a seamless extension of your existing front of house team, and this means engaging with customers positively. By this we mean having the right answers, the right attitude and being approachable and professional at all times.

  1. Ensuring a positive first impression

Any person working within the corporate sector needs to present themselves in a positive and professional manner, and this is the same for any security contractor working to support a client. If door supervision or manned guarding is part of the service we’re providing, it’s likely that our Carter Security officers will be the first people that your customers see. First impressions leave lasting impressions, and that’s why we take first impressions so seriously.

  1. Offer extra front of house duties when required

As an extension to your existing team, it might be that your concierge service security officer needs to step in and help your front of house team when necessary. This is something we are trained to accommodate, so all you need to do is ask!
