Job satisfaction. Something everyone strives for but very few actually succeed. The start of the year is a brilliant time to reflect on last year's achievements and to take a long hard look at what you'd like to do differently for the year ahead. For many, this comes back to job satisfaction, a phrase that should never be taken for granted. Job satisfaction is hugely important -- it's what makes you want to get out of bed every day, it gives a sense of purpose and a sense of belonging, and its vital for maintaining positive mental health.

But what are the key factors that lead to job satisfaction? And how does CSS Ltd tick those all-important boxes to keep the team here happy and motivated?

Excellent company culture

We're members of SEDEX, Constructionline and the Safe Contractor Scheme. We hope this demonstrates our desire to be recognised for the outstanding work we do each and every day, and our willingness to continue to want to improve. By striving to consistently be the best, we can prove to our staff that we want to work hard, instilling a hard working company culture in everyone who wears the CSS Ltd uniform.Ongoing training.

We take training very seriously, so much so that we have our own purpose building training facility at our head office in Wisbech. We also make a point of never subcontracting our staff, and we can guarantee that every one of our security officers holds a SIA License. Being part of the CSS Ltd team means continually learning, we quality training for everyone.

Interesting work

No two contracts are ever the same. We work with our clients to ensure that they receive the security they require, no matter what industry that might be. We can provide security to the educational sector, industrial clients, retailers, commercial sites, corporate organisations and licensed gaming operators. We also operate across the entire UK. This keeps our work interesting!

Ownership, responsibility and accountability

With over 30 years in the security sector, our security officers understand exactly what's expected of them. That means there's no confusion when it comes to ownership, responsibility and accountability. Whilst this may initially seem a little daunting, what it does mean is the transparency to see who sits with which client and which contract, and who deserves recognition for their performance, which leads us nicely to our next point...

Rewards and incentives

You may have heard of the Tony Award. This was introduced to recognise exceptional members of the CSS Ltd team every month and reward them with a £50 Amazon voucher to show just how much their hard work and dedication to the role means to us as a company. We will always put our staff first and hope that the Tony Award goes some way towards demonstrating that to every security guard within the company.
