Investing in a security provider is the first step in protecting your business and its assets from crime. It’s a positive step, but making the wrong decision could do more harm than good if you don’t do your research. We’ve highlighted what you should be thinking about with your security contractor and how Carter Security meets (and exceeds) those requirements.

Qualifications

Perhaps the most important factor is the qualifications the security officers hold and whether or not they’re fully trained to do the job. All of our security guards are SIA licensed and we never subcontract. This ensures they hold the basic qualifications needed to do an amazing job, but because we hold individual interviews, we ensure that every security officer who represents Carter Security can show so much more than ‘just’ the basics.

Trustworthiness

We understand that you place your trust in whoever is responsible for maintaining the security of your site. It will often be during antisocial hours and it could involve potentially volatile situations. Our security officers have an incredible reputation, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our clients, and in doing so build meaningful and trusting relationships that last.

Reliability

One thing we’re particularly transparent about during the interview process for new security guards is that we’re a team. As a team, we support each other and that can involve stepping into a shift that needs covering at short notice due to sickness, for example. Life can be unpredictable and with that come challenges, but knowing we have a shared passion for providing exceptional security for our clients means we’re able to prioritise reliability to make sure the sites we keep secure, stay secure.

Competitively priced

We know we’re not the cheapest security provider, and to be completely frank, we don’t want to be. Being the cheapest security provider in the UK would mean we would be unable to support our team – and supporting those within the Carter Security family is especially important during the current cost of living crisis we all find ourselves in. However, we are mindful of this and therefore aim to be competitively priced for our clients. We are confident that the security services we’re able to provide for your business are of such a quality that our prices are fair, and we can work with you in your budget to create a tailor-made security contract that means your needs.

For more information on how we can work and advise you on security at your business, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a member of our team. We look forward to hearing from you.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to further your career within the security industry, please check on our website or email us an up-to-date copy of your C.V. We never subcontract, we invest in training, and we work hard to support our staff. You will need to hold a valid SIA license before applying.
